I was one of Sherri’s clients when she lived in San Diego and now make the trip up to LA to get my hair done by her not because I’m completely crazy but because I am willing to put in time to get something done right. She is the first stylist that I have ever had that I feel cares about my hair even more than I do. I have never felt that she has pushed me to do a treatment or buy a product because she would benefit from it. On the contrary, she has told me not to do full highlights because she likes how my natural hair color blends with my highlights. I trust her wholeheartedly to do whatever with my hair and know that it will look fantastic. An example of this is my recent “bangs” cut. I haven’t had bangs since the 3rd grade, but I trusted her and she gave me a super hot cut. I never thought that I could pull off bangs but Sherri made it happen. Sherri does AMAZING hair and will make you feel like one of her family within minutes of meeting her. It’s really hard to find someone, especially in LA who really takes their time and makes you feel (for the time that you are there) that you are their only focus. This is exactly what Sherri does!! She makes sure the clients needs are met and that you are getting exactly what you ask for and you are never rushed out the door. I have to add to the overwhelming amount of positive experiences people have with Sherri Belanger here at Roman Salon. She has been my hairstylist for years and I would probably drive up to San Francisco for an appointment with her if I had to. Sherri is amazing at what she does. I’m sure you’ve watched those make over shows in awe as much as I have at how much of a difference an AMAZING HAIRSTYLE can make. You might have even thought.. wow, how much more fabulous could I be? Sherri is your answer, she’ll take your hair to it’s full potential. She’s everything you could want in a stylist, she listens to what you want, she makes you feel extremely comfortable and you can completely trust her. When you are in her chair you are her first priority and you wont leave the salon without feeling like you just got the best haircut of your life. I’m serious, I feel that way every time. I have really long thick brunette hair and she does an amazing job at bringing life and color to my hair. SHE IS MY HAIR GURU!! I am obsessed with the color she chose for me, it’s perfect! I’m looong overdue for another cut but somehow it still lays fabulous. The cut grows out really well because above everything else, she really knows what she’s doing. I had to ask for business cards last time she gave me bangs because so many people would stop me and ask where I got my hair cut!

Sherri Belanger was my stylist in San Diego years ago, and I now drive up to L.A. to see her at Roman Salon whenever I can because she is the absolute best. She is excellent with color. She listens to what I want and then comes up with great ideas that she thinks will work specifically for my hair. She recently painted a lighter color on the ends of my hair and left the top my natural brown. It was her idea, and I’m absolutely loving it. She actually cares about my hair and the long-term effects of the processes she uses, which is not something I’ve ever found in another stylist. She is not satisfied unless you are thrilled with the outcome and I cannot recommend her enough! The Roman Salon is cute and comfortable. I love the outdoor patio and the parking was much easier to find than I expected. The staff is friendly and accomodating whenever I’ve called to make an appointment, which is a big improvement from the Argyle where Sherri was working before. Love her! – Lauren W.

Sherri has a natural born talent for analyzing each client’s hair and making your locks look ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Unlike many stylists who get stuck in a “rut” doing what they like, Sherri’s passion for what she does enables her to explore and excel at blending what’s best for each hair type with each client’s unique vision. After going to Sherri, my hair always looks magnificent – whether my hair is blown out, straightened, curled, or even dirty. I have long straight hair, and I’ve found that most stylists are afraid to do too much with it for fear of cutting too much or adding layers that I won’t like. I’ve spent hundreds elsewhere for a haircut and left feeling like I had the same boring look that I went in with. In the near two years i’ve gone to Sherri for my hair its never been healthier, or looked better. For years I left hairdressers a lot poorer and on the verge of tears because of boring/bad cuts and mediocre styling – I didn’t understand what it was like to leave a salon beaming ear to ear and wanting to show off to the world until I sat in Sherri’s chair. I’d have to say having my hair done by Sherri has been such an amazing experience. Not only does she listen to what you want, she works through hair “issues” you may need to resolve. I don’t trust anyone else in the world with my treasured locks. Sherri is the first person i’ve ever gone back to time and time again. I followed her from Argyle Salon to Roman Aalon and I’d follow her to the valley (and I hate the valley) or really wherever she decided to move!
